Description:
A new laboratory measurement campaign is planned at ABB wind cable laboratory where an advanced investigation and characterization of electrical transient phenomena is done on different and realistic interactions between electrical apparatus and power systems.
Quantification methods will be refined for characterizing the transients by taking into account new transient signals as well as transient indicators.
The
results will be used as input to the activity within the IEEE and Cigre
working groups that may lead to the definition of standards related to
transients due to interaction between electrical apparatus and power
systems.
This project is a project within the project package ”Högfrekvens och
oscillationer”
